Up next is Claire's Hip to be Square sketch challenge from Sunday Stamps...my rendition..with a new to me whimsical Moose from Whipper Snapper. Inked, coloured and fussy cutted for the Christmas cards...one paired with buffalo plaid pattern paper..the last few sheets (huge sigh) and the other a zig zag pattern paper. Dusted with dazzling diamonds and finished with tiny red gems for the berries. Sentiment is Stampin Up - white embossing powder on black card stock and punched out. Card goal = 131 + 2 = 133.
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek. Happy Thursday everyone.
EDIT: Laurie over at Sunday Stamps chose my card for her top cup! What a wonderful Saturday surprise. THANK YOU so much! Congrats to all the other winners!

LET A SMILE....
Thought I would give Lisa's sketch a try over at Sunday Stamps. I have these Polkadoodle gnome stamps that have been sitting in my stash missing some love. WOW...the images with their lines inked perfectly. Love the stamps..love the crisp images and the regular lines afforded and made colouring easier in my humble opinion. Coloured the entire image than masked the gnome and sponged soft sky all around to soften the harshness of the white and to mimmick the rainy day. Dusted the white polka dots on the mushroom caps with dazzling diamonds glitter. Embossed the sentiment with white on black card stock and fussy cutted free hand. The vintage MME pattern papers are from the vintage trove. Voila! Entering this card into the latest Anything Goes theme challenge over "new to me" We Love 2 Create Challenge. Card goal = 107 +1 = 108 cards.

HIP HIP HOORAY....
I've been mulling the latest sketch from Laurie over at Sunday Stamps in my head for the last week or so...Took me awhile to bring this card together..I've been fortunate that my bestie has the Playing in the Rain bundle. Gathered up the courage to colour the stamped images and paired with the vintage MME pattern paper from the pattern paper treasure trove. I wanted the sun in the background and layered my rectangles for added dimension and interest. Finished the card with a vellum cloud die cut for the bunny to dance upon and the white embossed sentiment on black card stock... Voila! Card goal = 91 +1 = 92 cards. Thanks for dropping by to have a peek. Happy Friday everyone.

IT'S YOUR DAY Jars...
Up next, latest sketch from Heather over at Sunday Stamps. Coupled two of my fave stamp sets...Jar of Love with Cup of Tea..oh, and the teeny bee diecut is from the Stampin Up Queen Bee bundle (sadly retired)that I am on the hunt for.. finished the remaining cards with these teeny wooden bees from my craft stash. Anyways...excited to have completed these cards for the challenge. Used alot of vintage pattern papers: My Minds Eye, Stampin Up, Basic Grey, October Afternoon, American Crafts, Bo Bunny, SEI and others that I can't remember. Not sure which card is my fave of the collection. Also, entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Card Goal = 78 + 5 = 83.

{LOVE YOU} XOX
Had to think about this sketch from Sunday Stamps for abit...and than this idea dawned on me...my take on Heidi's sketch challenge...A great sketch to use up those fidley last pieces of pattern papers... Punched out the center of the "O" with the Classic Label punch.. Played with the placement of the sentiment as I wasn't 100% certain that you could make out the "O" with the sentiment on top.. Not sure this card portrays the sketch; however it was great inspiration. Card goal = 37 + 2 = 39 cards.

{LOVE YOU} and....
Latest sketch challenge from Melissa over at Sunday Stamps... So many ideas running through my head...Christmas, Valentines. Managed to complete a few cards and using up some of my vintage pattern paper stash. Haven't coloured images for awhile and found it abit exciting colouring the penguins and bringing them to *life* Wanted a different sentiment from Happy Valentine's Day, hence the {LOVE YOU}. Than for the Christmas cards..wanted to use the Santa hat stickers on the puffins. This sketch was great for using up those teeny pieces of leftover pattern papers for the gifts.. Can't decide which cards I prefer...the Valentine or Christmas versions.. Which is your fave? Entering these cards also into the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Voila 4 cards completed. 2026 Card goal 2 + 4 = 6.

Holiday Puppies...
Next is Deb's sketch from Sunday Sketches...loving the sketch challenges and they help with my goal to put a dent into the vintage treasure trove of cardmaking supplies! ;) Made a few Christmas cards with the wee Christmas puppy. Stamped, coloured and fussy cutted the puppies. Dusted the trim on their hats with dazzling diamonds and added a teeny bell die cut. Embossed the white layer with different snowflake embossing folders. Sentiment stamped with white embossing powder on black cardstock and punched out. Sorry I couldn't cover up the Christmas puppies...so I had to take liberty with the sentiment placement. Voila ready for Christmas! Card Challenge 140 + 4 = 144 cards.

Flat Shaker Toppers for Christmas
Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge. Love Claire's sketch and to pizazz the cards...added flat shaker toppers..way easier than the traditonal shaker boxes with foam tape..and easier to mail. My reduce, reuse, recycle tip here...use the cellophane packaging from desk calendars to make the shaker pockets. Started with a couple shakers and than I thought to layer the shaker toppers with foam tape for added dimension. Mixed and matched vintage pattern papers for 6 cards in total..lots of red glimmer and confetti from my craft stash. Had fun mixing the different pattern paper lines 267 - 6 cards = 261 cards to go.

Have a great Wednesday evening.

Snowmen Tags....*WINNER*
I've had this Snowman stamp in my vintage collection (2005) forever and a day that has never seen the light of day or any ink...so I finally inked the stamp up for the Sunday Stamps challenge..perfect. Practicing my colouring and using up the vintage pattern papers in the coveted stash...Can't decide which set I prefer...the blues (which I made first) of the other reds and pinks with the swirling ribbons that finished the tags. Gasp...haven't used ribbon in awhile..All are unique and one of a kind as unfortunately I get bored with identical multiples. Which ones are your fave? Now I'm at 5 + 178 = 183 / 240 personal goal for the year.
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek.
Happy Tuesday.
EDIT: Heather from the Sunday Stamps design team chose my card as her top cup winner "Sheri had me at "vintage snowmen!" Totally adorable!". THANK YOU so much ~ What a wonderful surprise! Congrats to the other winners. Looking forward to the next Sunday Stamps challenge. :)

I love the Paper Smooches images and did some masking for the different critter arrangements. Coloured with Copics and Blends...dug into more of the pattern paper stash for different pattern paper combos.. Dusted the images with dazzling diamonds and layered with foam tape, the critters onto the embossed snowflake circle with the red glimmer scallop circle.. Layered the "Christmas" with foam tape for added dimension and Voila!!!
