Christmas Friends...TOP CUP WINNER

Christmas..this year's goal is 100 cards..and I have 6 more to add to the current 51 ...so it's 57..Tried Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge. I love the Paper Smooches images and did some masking for the different critter arrangements. Coloured with Copics and Blends...dug into more of the pattern paper stash for different pattern paper combos.. Dusted the images with dazzling diamonds and layered with foam tape, the critters onto the embossed snowflake circle with the red glimmer scallop circle.. Layered the "Christmas" with foam tape for added dimension and Voila!!!

Merry Christmas Trio...WINNER

So the AHSC had me stumped and I finally figured it out...went Christmas with this one as that's how I'm rolling these days. Stamped the little snowman and owl, than masked and stamped the larger snowman...coloured with Copics and Blends... Fussy cut..(gasp) and layered with foam tape for dimension. Added some dazzling diamonds glitter for alittle bit of sparkle. Love this colour combo and will need to make a couple more for the stash.. Voila!

Snowflake Merry Wishes...WINNER

I am totally in LOVE with another of my bestie's stamp set...Window Wishes..my Christmas take on this week's AHSC.. a scattering of snowflakes with some red embelishments...and a couple Evergreen sprigs..Layered stamped circle with the red glimmer scallop circle on foam tape for dimension... Definitely making a couple more of these cards for the Christmas card stash. Voila!

Birthday and Christmas....Honourable Mention..

Trying a different colour combo with Just Add Ink's sketch. Working on Birthday cards and enjoyed finding different pattern papers for the hexies to match the floral pattern paper base. Loved working with the sketch so much that I tried a Christmas version... red buffalo plaid mixed with pool party, balmy blue and real red pattern papers..finished with the black glimmer cardstock penguin and his red sparkly bow tie..Voila!

Merry Christmas...WINNER

Another sketch from one of my fave sketch challenge blogs...Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge..the sketch kinda stumped me and than I was eyeing some pattern paper and a shaker box came to be. Blue glimmer cardstock for the mat and the shaker window frame.. Mixed and added some sequins with chunky glitter for the shaker box elements. Finished with some diecut snowflakes! Voila!

Birthday and Merry Christmas...WINNER

So I have a few Birthday cards and the lone Christmas card which started with Sunday Stamps latest sketch challenge.. Busted out the Jar of Love for the Birthday cards with some vintage pattern papers from MME with blues with a blue glitter cardstock base layer.... scallop rectangle glitter layers and the jar and flowers are die cuts..Used 2 different colour combos for the flowers: Soft Sky and Pool Party and Balmy Blue and Pacific Point for the other..The Christmas Gnome..was another take on the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge..used a stitched snowflake die cut from iridescent paper and layered the snowflake for dimension..Dusted the candy cane with dazzling diamonds and finished with a single red gem for bling to finish his hat...Voila...

Christmas Gnome with Pressie...WINNER

The weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge..one of my fave sketch challenge blogs. I'm working with a non-traditional Christmas colour theme- Bermuda Bay...So inked up the Gnome image and paper pieced the present with the white bow..accented with dazzling diamonds glitter. Gathered up more of the vintage pattern paper stash..Finished with the white embossed *MERRY CHRISTMAS* on black cardstock..Didn't have any coordinating ribbon, twine..so had to pass. Lots of layers on this card and I added dimension to the Gnome with foam tape... Voila!

Bermuda Bay Christmas Gnomes...WINNER

So exciting ...I've reached the 60,000 views' milestone on my blog...and on a roll for cardmaking as we focus on making multiples versus one card wonders...wish me luck. Gave the Paper Players' Leanne's sketch challenge a try and chose a different non traditonal colour scheme as well, with Bermuda Bay. The recently acquired Gnome Christmas stamp set, which I am loving ...the images stamp well with the Memento Ink and than great for practice colouring with alcohol markers...There are dies to go with the set ; however, we fussy cutted for a thinner white border. Dusted the hats and the candy canes with dazzling diamonds. Used up more of the vintage pattern paper...Voila!

EDIT: What a wonderful surprise to wake up to...Laura from THE PAPER PLAYERS' design team, chose my card as one of the cut above winners for their sketch challenge. So excited and THANK YOU. Glad I was able to participate with the sweltering temps here.

Bohemian Jars of Love...WINNER

Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge...thought I would give it a go...Not sure whether you're able to see the acetate that I used for the middle piece of the card front to give it a bit of interest..I think I like the look..definitely a challenge lining up the bottom crumbcake layer..Haven't decided on the sentiment as I'll keep the cards on hand for emergencies..I'm going to be sad when this pattern paper line is all gone..but it's nice that I am finally using some of the coveted pattern paper stash. Now I need to work on a male version of this card...hmmmm

happy Birthday Wishes...WINNER

Thought I would give Freshly Made Sketches' Kim's challenge a try...needing to add more Birthday Cards to my stash and make it a double challenge by adding the Paper Player's Laura's theme challenge of the "green thumb" ... blue glimmer paper for *celebration* bling...tiny pearl accents and double stamped flowers...with the mason jars from one of my fave sets.. Jute bows..a sprinkle of sequins later...a couple more cards! Voila! Building the card stash...one card at a time. ;)

Happy Birthday Wishes...WINNER

Well better timing this time around....once again AHSC to the rescue with their weekly sketch. Need to build the Birthday card stash..lots of stamping with the flowers..and wanted to try mixing different fonts in the sentiment for texture...Layered with *happy* or *celebrate* with foam tape for dimension. Loving the dangly jute, gold twine or gold crochet cotton bows around the pattern paper mason jars..And since I am trying to work not harder but smarter ...various combinations...Finished the yellow flowers with teeny pearls..VOILA! 9 more cards added to the Birthday card stash.
