Oh another good sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges to use up those pattern paper leftover pieces. Christmas on the brain...glimmer cardstocks for the bottom layer and the focal point mat. Not sure whther you're able to see the snowflaked embossed white layer underneath the pattern paper strips. Stamped and coloured the snowman, dusted with dazzling diamonds glitter and finished with tiny gems for their buttons. Stamped snowflakes randomly. Finished with the MERRY CHRISTMAS sentiment with white embossing powder on black. Voila! Not sure which one I prefer..the red glimmer or the blue glimmer. Card goal = 94 + 2 = 96 cards.
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek. Happy Thursday everyone.

Snowflakes and Snowman
Trying to get back into the cardmaking mojo and Judy's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches was a great kick starter. Stamped, coloured and blinged the snowman image and layered with chocolate chip mat. Embossed the white layer underneath with one of my fave embossing folders..finished with snowflakes that I purposely cut with a 45 degree angle to fit the card corners! Voila! Personal Card Challenge 188-1 = 187 cards to go..hmmm..just a tad behind. Thanks for dropping by to have a peek. Happy Monday! :)

Holiday Snowman
Up next is Karren's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches... Holiday rendition of the sketch. Using up more of the vintage pattern paper and opted for a window for the focal point. Pink glimmer mat because it's a holiday card. Voila! Card Challenge 194-1 = 193 cards to go.

Happy Monday.

Collection using Vintage Pattern Paper Stash...
Lavender card: Found these Shimmer Sheetz in the pattern paper stash...embossed with Martha Stewart snowflake embossing folder..
My take on the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge... I'm so sorry but I just can't bring myself to tear pattern paper..does anyone else have this issue/dilemna??? So I put my big girl panties on and created...a mix of all occassion cards with some Christmas ones. Stamped. coloured and fussycutted some snowman images..sprinkled with dazzling diamonds..Scattered gems here and there to finish the cards. Using up more of the vintage patter paper stash of mine... for the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge blog. How many different pattern paper lines/pieces do you count? Which one is your fave? Cardmaking extravaganza weekend... 206 cards - 12 = 194 cards to go with a little over 6 1/2 months to go.. I do have a couple more in the works and will post when I finish.
Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great Sunday. :)

Snowmen Tags....*WINNER*
I've had this Snowman stamp in my vintage collection (2005) forever and a day that has never seen the light of day or any ink...so I finally inked the stamp up for the Sunday Stamps challenge..perfect. Practicing my colouring and using up the vintage pattern papers in the coveted stash...Can't decide which set I prefer...the blues (which I made first) of the other reds and pinks with the swirling ribbons that finished the tags. Gasp...haven't used ribbon in awhile..All are unique and one of a kind as unfortunately I get bored with identical multiples. Which ones are your fave? Now I'm at 5 + 178 = 183 / 240 personal goal for the year.
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek.
Happy Tuesday.
EDIT: Heather from the Sunday Stamps design team chose my card as her top cup winner "Sheri had me at "vintage snowmen!" Totally adorable!". THANK YOU so much ~ What a wonderful surprise! Congrats to the other winners. Looking forward to the next Sunday Stamps challenge. :)
