Frappe's Merry Christmas

Well it's been awhile...inspiration from Donna's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. Inked up the new to me Whipper Snapper snowman stamp...paper pieced the snowman's attire. Coloured with COPICS and Blendabilities on whisper white cardstock. Finished with a dusting of dazzling diamonds. Fussy cutted the completed image and layered with foam tape. Dry embossed the bottom strip with a snowflake embossing folder. Which card is your fave? Also entering these cards into the ABC Christmas Challenge: S is for Snowmen and Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Card goal = 136 + 4 = 140 cards..just a tad behind.

merry 'TIS THE SEASON

Check out the JULY challenge over at the ABC Christmas Challenge blog. N is for No Stamping...which is totally something I can do...This is where you find your pattern papers with a beautiful scenery....make a flat shaker card...and finish with a glimmer cardstock die cut sentiment...Voila!!! So excited to be using the vintage snowflake confetti and again - repurposing cellophane packaging. Card Goal = 133 + 3 = 136. Also, entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge...and Just Add Ink's latest Christmas in July theme challenge.

Christmas Penguin Windows...

So the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge had me stumped and whilst I was chatting with my bestie about the sketch... as I'm not into florals at the moment...but we talked about snowflakes and a window...and the idea(s) morphed into this card...I wanted a window without the crossbars so that you could see the penguin...Used iridescent paper for the snowflake chain and the ice skating pond. Shakers are a must with windows! ;) Voila! card goal = 129 + 2 = 131. Also entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Paper Challenge.

Celebrate shakers...

Inspiration from the latest sketch challenge over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.. Found some more vintage pattern papers in the stash and upcycling more of the cellophane packaging..Celebrate flat shakers for the win. Shadowed the Celebrate sentiment to "pop" the sentiment on the card front. Flipped the sketch to vertical alignment to better showcase the sentiment. Entering these cards also into Love Those Pretty Papers challenge to help with my 2026 goal to put a serious dent into the vintage pattern paper trove of mine. Card goal = 123 + 3 = 126 cards.

Arched Christmas Windows

My renditions of the latest sketch challenge over at Atlantic hearts Sketch Challenge. Christmas in July is happening and flat shakers save the day! First card was the snowman and penguins..than the dancing penguin and finished with the Christmas puppy. Again, the flat shakers are upcycled cellophane packaging and confetti from the craft stash. Voila! Card goal = 115 + 3 = 118 cards. Also, entering these cards into the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge.

Mother's Day Tea Cups

Was over at my bestie's checking out stamps for Mother's day cards and she lent me her Cup of Tea stamp and die bundle...Lots of stamping and diecutting happened here. Feminine cards coming right up for the latest Paper Players' theme challenge from Jaydee. Stamped the foliage wuth Gumball green on sage shadow cardstock for the leaves as I didn't like all the white space when I originally stamped gumball green on whisper white. Layered the leaves with dimensionals for volume and finished the flowers with mini gems or pearls. Entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge as I used more of my vintage pattern paper stash. Are you able to figure out how many different pattern papers were used this time around??? ;). Card goal = 71+5 = 76 cards.

Bannered Happy....

My take on the latest Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Found this vintage Stampin Up mushroom woodland pattern paper and used the mushrooms from the Sizzix Funky Foliage dies. Needed to make some Mother's Day cards...so I drove into the pattern paper treasure trove and came up with a few more cards. The Mother's Day sentiment is from Mama Elephant...which my bestie kindly lent me to finish my cards. Completed the cards with the teeny wooden bees..voila! Entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Paper Challenges as well. Card goal = 66 +4 = 70 cards.

YOU'RE THE BEST MOM....

As soon as I saw this sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges...I immediately thought...oh a great pattern paper scrap buster...wanted to work on some cards for Moms..which would work for either Mother's Day of their Birthday.. Once again vintage pattern paper collaborations (14 different pattern papers)..Finished the cards with these teeny wooden bee embellishments (See if one can spot them in the second picture?)..Voila! Also entering these cards into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge as we're showcasing vintage pattern papers with different companies: Stampin Up, My Minds Eye, Bo Bunny, etc. Card goal = 49 + 6 = 55 cards.

Up next, the latest sketch challenge from Karren over at Freshly Made Sketches... Love the tag element as I get to use some of the vintage ribbon in the stash which matches perfectly with the vintage pattern papers of mine.. and since I'm kinda on a shaker kick...converted the tags into mini shakers for some confetti. Another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge coupled with Love Those Pretty Papers challenge. Pairing vintage pattern papers and then dusting off one of my fave stamp sets: Jar of Love. I have had this Bo Bunny floral pattern paper in my stash forever and finally cut the paper to make these cards. Love the shades of purples with the pink and splash of lemon. Card goal = 44 + 2 = 46.

Birthday with Mini Flat Shakers...

Nothing like leaving it down to the wire...hope I make it..Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge... Collaboration of vintage My Minds Eye, Stampin Up, Bazzill Basics and Bo Bunny pattern papers.. And a teeny bit of ribbon from the vintage ribbon stash which has not seen the light of day in forever. Not sure which one I prefer.. Happy Birthday Mosaic..WINNER

Another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge..my version for two Birthday cards...layered some of the layers with foam tape for dimensional interest and finished with the Happy Birthday embossed with white embossing powder on black card stock. Changed the placement of the sentiment as I didn't want to cover the florals and wanted to showcase the florals.Mix of Stampin up, K & Company and MME vintage pattern papers on a chocolate chip cardstock mat on the so saffron pattern paper. I think my fave is the one with the blue flowers..which is yours? Entering this card into Love Those Pretty Paper challenge since I managed to use 3 different pattern paper lines for the cards. Card Goal 35 + 2 = 37.

As soon as I saw the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge...I thought of a window..so with ideas swirling around in my noggin.... this is what I came up...more Valentines' Day cards to add to the stash. Vintage papers to the rescue and some upcycled cellophane packaging..for a mini flat shaker. Mixed and matched vintage pattern papers: Paper Salon, Simple Stories, and MME. Finished the cards with the white embossed sentiment on black cardstock and some shiny red metalic hearts stickers. Entering these cards also into Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Card goal = 26 + 4= 30 cards

Masculine Trees...

This week's sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge kinda stumped me...but this is my take on the sketch..masculine themed Christmas and Birtday cards.. Vintage collection of pattern papers: Pink Paislee, My Minds Eye 2010, and Bazzill Basics Paper with Stampin Up. My 2026 Card goal = 18 + 4 = 22. Great sketch to use those pattern papers. Adding the Christmas Cards to ABC's Christmas Challenge: A is for Anything Goes and Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge.

Love cards...

Getting back into the swing of things...slowly but surely - fingers crossed. The latest sketch challenge from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Made a few more Love cards for the stash and really enjoying the Happy Feet penguin. Dug into the vintage pattern paper stash...Fisker's Heidi Grace 2006..My Minds Eye 2012.. Basic Grey...Paper Salon...
Layered the coloured with Copics penguins with a bit of pattern paper on a red cardstock label diecut.. Diecutted hearts from red, pink and white glimmer.. Voila 3 cards finished. Entering these cards also into the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Card Goal 6 + 3 = 9 cards for 2028.

Latest sketch challenge from Melissa over at Sunday Stamps... So many ideas running through my head...Christmas, Valentines. Managed to complete a few cards and using up some of my vintage pattern paper stash. Haven't coloured images for awhile and found it abit exciting colouring the penguins and bringing them to *life* Wanted a different sentiment from Happy Valentine's Day, hence the {LOVE YOU}. Than for the Christmas cards..wanted to use the Santa hat stickers on the puffins. This sketch was great for using up those teeny pieces of leftover pattern papers for the gifts.. Can't decide which cards I prefer...the Valentine or Christmas versions.. Which is your fave? Entering these cards also into the Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge. Voila 4 cards completed. 2026 Card goal 2 + 4 = 6.

Latest inspiration for these cards from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge...and needed to seriously put a dent into my confetti stash...so flat shaker cards it was..upcycled cellophane from product packaging.. I always have Christmas on the brain..and love the snowflake confetti. Can't decide which ones I prefer ~ the Pink Christmas or the red Christmas ones...Which is your fave?
Than I came up with the Floral Birthday card versions with Make My Monday's latest challenge - Birthday card with at least one flower. And because these cards showcase the pattern papers...entering into the Love those Pretty Papers challenge. Voila! Card challenge 150 + 9 cards = 159 cards
