Close up to show details....
So this week's challenge over at Watercooler Wednesday's is Anything Goes...and Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge..Always Christmas and add some sparkle.. I was over to my besties' and she let me try her new Christmas Dies sets ~ Card Front Builder Thinlets and Hometown Greetings Edgelits...She's such an enabler..as I now have them on my I WANT list! ;) Being so hot..all I can focus on is Christmas cards to help me with the sweltering temperatures here...So with some shimmery cardstock, silver glimmer..soft sky cardstock..retired DSP..acetate base...rhinetstones..embossing powders..Voila!
Deets: All Stampin Up except Snowflake embossing folder
EDIT: I was chosen as one of the Watercooler Rockers' winners! How exciting is that and a FABULOUS way to end a Tuesday double header shift! Thank you Libby for choosing my card and congrats to the other winners. :)
Thanks for dropping by and having a peek.
Smiles :)

Oh my, Sheri this is gorgeous! What beautiful, elegant, and subtle colours you've combined for this card! Great use of the Card Front Builder thinlits and the Hometown Greetings edgelits. They work beautifully together. Great addition of that Silver Glimmer paper, too. Love everything about this! Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
Thanks so much Heidi! Really working on that Christmas Card stash of mine...mind you at the rate that I am going..I am seriously behind..LOL..I think the Hometown Greetings edgelits are my fave Christmas dies yet this season. Thanks for another great challenge and looking forward to the next Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. :)
What a gorgeous little Christmas village! Love the combination of the framelits. Thanks for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday.
Thanks Gail! Really loving the new dies to play with...and I see so many other possibilities with these sets! Loving the Anything Goes Challenge from WWC. :)
Sheri I knew this card was going to be a masterpiece, and you didn't let me down. Awesome acetate card. That little village scene with the die cuts worked out perfectly. Love the embossed snowbanks and the Card Builder die for the moon and stars. Simply gorgeous, girl! hanks so much for sharing your card creation and joining us this week for the Watercooler Wednesday "Anything Goes" challenge.
Thank you Penny!! I'm so glad I tried out those new dies of yours...and of course, I now NEED them desperately..LOL...and can you believe that I had to fussy cut the silver glimmer backing for all those cute houses and such...I will be sad when I run out of the acetate sheets...between the cards and the shaker boxes...I'm definitely putting a dent into that stash of mine! ;) I'm so glad I was able to participate in the Watercooler Wednesday's Challenge of Anything Goes. :)
Sheri.....You rocked the Watercooler Challenge too! What a beautiful card, and it does make a person feel cool! LOL! I love glitter and you have excelled girl! Stunning, and yes I want that die cut now!
Thanks so much Heather! Definitely a cooling card...LOL..oh I wish with the nasty warm temperatures and smoke fire haze. The hard part was the fussy cutting of the silver backing on the buildings...and we know I am so not a fan of fussy cutting...LOL. Appreciate you popping by to have a peek and leave some blog love. :)
Thanks for entering your lovely crafting for CHNC challenge 349 – you could also enter this into my CHNC challenge extra for September - I'd love to see it there too x
Thank you Hazel! Was glad to be able to participate. :)
