Happy Birthday....Honorable Mention it is...

On my card to make list..a guy Birthday card...a double challenge for inspiration: Watercooler Wednesday's Libby's trees' theme and Create with Connie and Mary's sketch challenge. I don't own alot of guy stamp sets..so went with my Lovely as a Tree stamp set and Happy Birthday sentiment from the retired Engraved Greetings set. Had to add a mini shaker and added some silver glimmer paper...which I'm not too sure is very *manly*...oh well.. Coloured the rhinestones with a sharpie and Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for beads in shaker box

EDIT: Sweet....my card was chosen by the Watercooler Wednesday peeps for the Honorable Mention for last week's theme challenge. Totally made my day. THANK YOU!!!

Thanks for dropping by and having a peek at my card.
Smiles,
Sheri :)

I love how the stamp is layered over the circle and shaker pieces! That adds so much interest to an already-great design! Thank you for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!

How clever you were to incorporate the trees in your card - I especially love the mini-shaker tree!

Thank you Jenny for the blog love. I think I might remake as a Christmas card as the silver glimmer paper makes me think Christmas. :)

I love how you combined the spotlight stamping, with making one of the 'spotlights' into a shaker! Brilliant & unique idea! Thanks for joining the Watercooler Wednesday challenge this week. ~Deborah

Hi Sheri, what a wonderful surprise you've created with your card. The stamping is superb, of course, and the way you've used the classic Lovely as a Tree, not just spotlighting sections of the grove of trees, but turning one of those spotlights into a shaker---brilliant! This is a card anyone would be thrilled to receive and happy to keep forever. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

No worries on the man card front Miss Sheri. Real men can handle a bit of glittery silver and of course...they love to shake things up! {grin}
Brilliant combination of elements and fun to see shakers in miniature too.
Thanks for joining in with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge gang yet again. Always fun/inspiring to see what you've created.
